All Roads Lead Home Quilt Pattern Release
This year I decided to take the leap and finally pursue my dream of becoming a pattern writer in earnest. I have admired Amber Elliot of Alderwood Studios for a while now and finally was able to participate in the 2024 Pattern Writing Academy and all I can really say is, what a ride! The All Roads Lead Home pattern was born when I realized that my whole life has been a journey to get to this place in my life.
ARLH is a confident beginner pattern that is a really great way to grow your skills in making Half Square Triangles and Flying Geese. Boy did I learn a lot in this process!
This baby version was created using Imaginary Flowers by Gingiber for Moda Fabrics purchased from my local quilt shop Sew Senoia. Are those not the sweetest flowers? I just loved the modern colors and sweet details.
This throw size version I created using a modern solid palette shows the versatility of this pattern. It’s not just for the littles! In fact, Mr. Wood Lily Studio, was a real fan of this colorway and felt like a right superhero with this one!
Check out the test samples below. So many options and colorways! Prints, solids, you name it. The possibilities are endless with the All Roads Lead Home Quilt!
This sweet baby version by Michelle of @michflookmakes brings out all the feels and makes me want to go have a tea party with my best girls!
Midnight skies by Genny at @geniemojo
Cotton candy feels with this one by Pam at @threadtownpnw
And these fun versions by Vanessa at @varoz.craftss, Heather at @blessedwithgracedesigns, Stephanie at @starwitch1313, and Jennifer at @jennifer.young22.
